The Recessed Drip Tray

The Recessed drip tray drops into a cut-out in your counter: only its 1 in lip rests on the top, so the tray sits below the counter and spills run straight into the basin. You set the basin size — any width from 12 to 100 in, 6 in deep as standard (3 to 12 in) — and the lip adds 1⅞ in to each dimension overall.

The basin is pressed in an X toward the drain (a V toward each of two drains), so it empties better than a flat pan. Place up to 3 drains and 2 glass rinsers along the tray, where your faucets are; over 48 in we recommend two drains.

Every tray is laser-cut, bent and welded by hand in our Trois-Rivières, Québec shop from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel, with removable laser-cut grate inserts — equal lengths, 36 in at most each. The glass rinsers sit flush with the grate. Brushed stainless is standard; powder coat (matte black, glossy white, gold or candy copper) is available on the whole tray or the basin only. Since 2017 we’ve built about 5,600 drip trays alongside our draft beer towers — we’ve been building custom systems since 1992.

How long does it take to build my tray?

Every tray is made to order in our Trois-Rivières shop in 5–20 business days. Need it sooner? Rush production is available — contact us with your date.

Can I choose where the drains and glass rinsers go?

Yes. In the builder’s top view, drag each drain and rinser along the tray, or use the Left / Center / Right buttons; the 3D and the price follow. Keep 2 in between elements and from the ends — the builder checks it for you.

What counter cut-out do I need?

The cut-out depends on your basin size: before cutting the counter, ask us for the drawing of your exact size (sales@futmauricie.com). Overall, the tray is the basin + 1⅞ in each way.

Does it come in black or a colour?

Yes — powder coat in matte black, glossy white, gold or candy copper, on the whole tray (basin and grate) or on the basin only with a stainless grate. Drains and glass rinsers stay stainless. A coating can chip over time; brushed stainless has nothing to chip.

Do you make longer trays?

Online, any size from 12 to 100 in. Beyond that, or for a special shape, a logo or a grate pattern, write to our team — our longest tray was 146 × 25 in.

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes — we ship across Canada and the United States; shipping is calculated at checkout.
